Rachel is a Certified Nurse Midwife
Rachel is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Midwifery from New York University.
Rachel’s experience as a Registered Nurse at NYU Langone Health in Labor & Delivery inspired her to pursue a career as a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has also worked as an Adjunct Clinical Professor for undergraduate nursing students at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and as a Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor to expecting parents.
Rachel’s philosophy is that childbirth is normal, natural and healthy. She strongly believes that respectful and evidence-based patient care empowers women to understand and trust their bodies. Her other passions include well-woman gynecological care and contraception care.
Rachel lives in Manhattan. She enjoys traveling abroad and making homemade pasta.
