Dr. Heidi Snyder Flagg moved to New York City in 1999 after completing her Ob/Gyn residency at Brown University Woman and infants Hospital. Raised in Winfield, Kansas, Dr. Flagg is a fourth generation physician and the first woman in her family to get her MD.

Dr. Flagg, alongside Dr. Brina Maldonado, cofounded Spring Ob/Gyn in 2002.

Living and working in the area hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, Dr. Flagg was on call the night of the storm. She delivered a baby in the midst of the storm with the aid of a battery operated headlamp and evacuated the first, most critical patient from NYU Hospital that night.

An enthusiastic supporter of Every Mother Counts, Dr. Flagg recently joined the EMC founder’s circle in a medical advisory role.

Dr. Flagg ran her first half marathon with EMC in Tanzania 2015 and in 3 additional half marathons since. On an EMC trip to Haiti in 2013, Dr. Flagg presented an update on Preeclampsia, the leading cause of maternal mortality in Haiti and the United States, at the Hospital Universities de Mirebalais.

She also serves as the Assistant Chair of the research committee for the HL Snyder Medical Foundation. This research foundation started by her grandfather, Dr. Cecil Dawson Snyder, funds medical researchers at Dana Farber in Boston, Stanford University, the University of Kansas and Kansas State University.

Dr. Flagg lives in downtown New York City with her husband, Chris and two children, Emmeline and Elliot.

Dr. Brina Maldonado graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Science from the Wharton Business school with a concentration in health care management. She then obtained her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northshore University Hospital.

Dr. Maldonado has been in practice since 1999 and is a founding partner of Spring OBGYN, which opened in 2002.  She is proud to have opened a private practice that provides comprehensive and convenient gynecologic and obstetrical care for lower Manhattan and the surrounding area.  She has built a practice that can offer numerous in-office tests and procedures including ultrasound, blood draws, vaccinations, pap screening and minor surgical procedures in a comfortable outpatient private practice setting. She enjoys general obstetrics and gynecology as well as preventative women’s health care.  She is happy to have settled and established her practice in Soho, a short distance from NYU Langone Hospital, Spring OBGYN’s affiliate, for obstetrics and in-patient care.

Dr. Maldonado currently resides in lower Westchester, with her husband, where she has raised her three children.  She enjoys travel, art and family.

As a native New Yorker, Dr. Feldman enjoys practicing obgyn in the city that she loves and has always called home.  She grew up in Manhattan and attended the Bronx HS of Science where she knew early on that she wanted to become a doctor. Dr. Feldman went on to attend Wesleyan University to continue her studies in the sciences as well as expand her education in the arts. She spent 2 years in Boston doing medical research at the Brigham and Womens Hospital then completed medical school at SUNY Buffalo and came back to NYC for residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Feldman has been working at Spring OBGYN since 2009 and is now a partner in the practice. Dr. Feldman is devoted to caring for women throughout all stages of their life. She offers individualized and comprehensive prenatal and general gynecologic care in an intimate private practice setting. Dr. Feldman treats common problems such as polyps, fibroids and abnormal bleeding through hysteroscopic procedures.

Outside of the office, Dr. Feldman enjoys yoga, snowboarding, cooking, and traveling. Most of all, spending time with her family is by far her greatest pleasure.

A native of the West Coast, Dr. Cho holds dual undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of California at San Diego. She completed her medical education at New York Medical College and her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Northwell in Long Island.

She has more than 15 years of experience in pregnancy, labor management and comprehensive gynecological care. Dr. Cho’s love of New York City brought her to Spring Ob/Gyn, where she is honored to work with an amazing group of strong, smart physicians. Dr Cho is highly skilled in office procedures, such as IUD insertions/removals, colposcopies, polypectomies, biopsies and implant insertion/removals.

Dr Cho’s patients are advised with evidence-based medical guidance, just as she would advise a close friend or family member. Ultimately, she believes in partnering with her patients to meet their personal healthcare goals at every phase of their life.

Dr Cho enjoys the beach and anything outdoors, new restaurants and using her passport. She lives in Manhattan with her daughter and looks forward to the new wonders that every day brings.

Dr Rodgers graduated cum laude from New York University where she received her BA in psychology. She attended Georgetown University School of Medicine where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.

She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She joined Spring OBGYN in 2011. Her clinical interests include obstetrics and the management of labor. She also has expertise in the management of abnormal Pap smears and contraception education.

She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology, empowering young women and helping provide them with a supportive environment to start their gynecologic care.

Dr. Rodgers has young children and lives in Manhattan. She is also a competitive equestrian.

Dr. Wade graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Science and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She attended St. George’s University School of Medicine where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She joined Spring OBGYN in 2014. Her clinical interests include obstetrics and the management of labor. She also has expertise in the management of abnormal Pap smears and contraception education.

Dr. Onbreyt graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hunter College, CUNY where she received BA/MA in Biological Sciences. She attended medical school at University of Buffalo and completed her residency training at New York Methodist Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined Spring OBGYN in 2016. Her clinical interests include obstetrics, the management of labor, routine preventive gynecological care, management of abnormal pap smears/colposcopy, contraception education, adolescent gynecology, abnormal uterine bleeding, minimally invasive surgery. She immigrated to the US from the former Soviet Union at a young age and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two young daughters.

Dr. Vachhani earned her medical degree from Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and completed her residency training at Northwell.  During her training, Dr. Vachhani was elected administrative chief resident and received multiple teaching awards.  She was also recognized with the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine resident award.  Originally from Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Dr. Vachhani holds a bachelor’s degree in History of Art from Yale University.  After graduating college, she worked in museums before applying to medical school.

Dr. Vachhani is committed to empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their health.  Her special interests include contraception, minimally invasive surgery, and she loves delivering babies.  Her hobbies include reading, travel, and yoga.

Dr. Jia grew up in Queens, New York and attended the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Neuroscience and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She then obtained her Medical Degree from Albany Medical College and completed her OB/GYN residency at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she was presented the SASGOG generalist award. She is interested in contraceptive care, minimally invasive surgery, and labor management.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, staying active, and picking up new crafting hobbies.

Lauren Lese, LM, CNM earned her Master’s Degree in Midwifery  from Columbia University in 1991. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Columbia University and a BA (Psychology) from Oberlin College in 1985.

Originally from Bronx, NewYork, Lauren attended the Bronx High School of Science. Over a 25 year career in Midwifery she delivered nearly 1000 babies in numerous settings, prior to retiring from Labor and Delivery in 2016 and devoting herself to Women’s Health. She worked at Planned Parenthood NY for 5 years where she developed expertise in contraception management, before joining Spring OB/GYN in 2009.

Lauren Lese is passionate about providing wholistic, empowering health care to girls and women. Special interests include STD treatment and counseling; recurrent vaginitis management, and adolescent  health.

Her hobbies include baking, reading mysteries, yoga, biking and hiking.
