Gynecology:

We offer comprehensive gynecological services.

• preventative care
• treatment of abnormal pap smear
• testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
• treatment for vaginal and urinary infections
• treatment of uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts
• family planning, birth control services, IUD insertion
• general blood work and in-office ultrasound

We are equipped for minor surgical office procedures including cervical, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, colposcopy, LEEP, and in-office treatment of miscarriages.

Hospital procedures include open as well as minimally invasive surgeries for uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, tubal ligation, and endometrial ablation. Dr. Cara Dodson, Dr. Rachel Friedman, and Dr. Emily White have a special interest and training in advanced operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Obstetrics:

Our practice provides complete care for the pregnant patient, from your first sonogram through to your delivery. Obstetrical patients are cared for by all of the doctors, as a team; thus each patient meets and gets to know each of our practitioners during their prenatal care. Our physicians have academic appointments and privileges at New York University Medical Center.

In addition, Bonnie Yim, CNM, is available to see those patients who prefer midwife prenatal care and delivery. Bonnie Yim is a seasoned midwife who has been in practice for over 10 years.

All aspects of your care can be addressed by our practitioners including genetic testing, questions about medications, food and lifestyle changes, general blood work, fetal monitoring by fetal non-stress tests or sonogram, and any other issues that may arise during your pregnancy.

Childbirth and Breastfeeding Classes:

These highly popular educational classes are taught by certified instructors in our office after-hours and on the weekends. These classes are available to Spring Ob/Gyn patients as well as patients cared for by outside obstetrical practices. All are welcome to attend.
